Hands-Free Bolt Stretch Gauge

- Larger bracket than most other tools on the market gives room for a socket to be used with tool in place.

- High tension spring keeps gauge located in punch marks without the need for you to hold it.

- Using a thru-socket, box wrench, or standard socket with milled flats (available separately) you can tighten the fastener with the gauge in place and watch the bolt stretch in real time.

- Save time by not having to tighten, check, tighten, check, etc.

- Optional for $10: Socket with milled flats to accept open-end wrench. Example: For the ZX6, a box-end wrench may not fit for the con-rod nut due to not enough clearance between the nut and rod cap. A 6pt 3/8" socket is used and two flats are milled to accept a 13mm wrench, shown in video. Some models may not require an additional socket at all, if you can already fit a box-end wrench or thru-socket on the fastener.
